Tried a new method for protein bars and love it!! It's crack for any fitness enthusiast! Never buy another "healthy protein bar" again. They are loaded with crap!
Mix 2 cups of rolled oats and 1/2 cup of shredded coconut (I toasted it up in the oven for a few mins to give it a golden color and a roasted taste), 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder, drizzled unsweetened cocoa powder and cinnamon in a bowl and in a separate bowl mix 1 egg, 1/4 cup of honey. Start pouring in the dry mixture little by little till all of it is moist- toss back into the baking pan- I sprayed some olive oil on it. Pack it down so it's nice and tight- toss into the Oven 20 mins. After 15 minutes I added a little more coconut on the top and left it in for 5 more mins. Let it cool and it literally slides out of the pan and you can cut it so easy :)
