Works as a fat bomb, and is incredibly delicious
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Heat cream in saucepan (microwave works too) until bubbles just start to form. Remove from heat and set aside. Start water heating for the water bath.
Whisk the egg yolk, salt (very little salt!), vanilla, and 1 packet of splenda. Once fully incorporated, whisk in the hot cream. Temper this process (do it slowly) so you don't scramble the egg.
Pour into a ramekin through a seive. This helps ensure it's smooth. Place the ramekin into a bigger pan and add hot water up to 1/4 of the way from the top. Bake for 30 mins until set and then chill for 1 hour.
