A healthy and simple classic!

² Ingredients

  •  1 dash Salt
  •  1 tsp Red or Cayenne Pepper
  •  1 dash Black Pepper
  •  1 cup, dry, yields Brown Rice
  •  2 small whole (2-2/5" dia) Tomatoes
  •  2 tsp Chili Powder
  •  1 tsp Paprika
  •  1.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water
  •  3 tsp Minced Garlic
   

q Directions

Rise the rice add it to the pot with 1 1/2 cup of water, the chopped tomatoes (try and add as much of the tomato juice to the pot as you can), minced garlic and a dash each of salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika and chili powder. Bring up to boil, cover and let simmer for 45 minutes. Let it sit for a few minutes before serving!
