³ Description

The best of both worlds at breakfast by incorporating savory into sweet donuts.

² Ingredients

q Directions

Preheat the oven to 350F. Grind the oats into a flour. Then add 1/2 scoop cinnamon swirl whey protein (or vanilla), 1 TBSP almond meal/flour, 3 egg whites, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 3/4 tsp maple extract (not vanilla extract, as listed), and 1 stevia packet. Blend again. Break up 2 strips of cooked turkey bacon and swirl it into the batter. Pour the batter into a donut mold sprayed with nonstick spray, forming 4 donuts. Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes, then remove.

Make the cinnamon maple glaze by mixing the 2 TBSP sugar free syrup, 1 TBSP cinnamon swirl whey protein (or vanilla), and 1/8 tsp cinnamon. Evenly distribute amongst the donuts.

Top the donuts with 1 more chopped up piece of cooked turkey bacon.
