These brownies are free of butter, flour and refined sugar, making them a perfect treat for when you're craving something sweet!
Ingredients:
2 cups peanut butter
2 eggs
2/3 cup honey
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 cup pure pumpkin
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Optional: 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine first 8 ingredients. Pour half of batter into separate bowl and stir in cocoa powder and chocolate chips, if desired. In other bowl, stir in cinnamon and nutmeg. In a greased 9x13 baking pan, pour in chocolate batter then top with pumpkin batter. Use a knife to swirl batters together and create marbled effect. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Once cool, cut into 24 bars.
