Recipe for 4 chocolate macarons inspired by a french recipe just turned healthy! Follow amounts in instructions, its not too easy to get the right ingredients and amounts in the ingredient menu here, thoigh macros should be about the same!
Shells
1. beat 1 egg white until really stiff
2. sweeten it with stevia to taste and beat again
3. mix 20g (1/5 cup) almond meal with 5g (1 tbs) cacao
4. add it to the stiff egg white and fold it in really carefully until well combined
5. form circular shells with a spoon on a parchment paper and dont make them too thin
6. bake them at 170 degrees C/340 degrees F for about 15 minutes
Filling
7. while shells are in the oven mix 3g (2 ts) cacao with 30g (2 tbs) quark or greek yogurt and sweeten it with stevia to taste
8. when shells are baked give the filling on one half of your shells and top each with another shell and press them together
