³ Description

Strong Middle eastern flavours and incredibly low calorie! Complex carbs, inexpensive ingredients and very easy to make! Packed full of flavour and goes well with most things so give them a try!

² Ingredients

  •  40 g Whole Wheat Flour
  •  1/2 fruit (2-1/8" dia) Lemon
  •  1/2 tbsp Cumin
  •  1 tsp Paprika
  •  1 dash Black Pepper
  •  1 dash Salt
  •  9 sprigs Cilantro (Coriander)
  •  2 clove Garlic
  •  1 large Onions
  •  10 sprigs Parsley
  •  240 g Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram) (Mature Seeds, Canned)
  •  1/2 tsp Baking Powder (Sodium Aluminum Sulfate, Double Acting)
   

q Directions

Recipe is for 4 servings of Falafels, pita not included.

preheat oven to 200c or 400f
put everything together in a food processor and blend till well processed
place as 12 or so balls on a sprayed baking tray and bake 15 mins per side (30 mins in total) optional grill for last few mins
