Craving bread? These are low calorie mini flax bread loafs. They are easy and quick to make for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Flaxseed is a great source of fibre, approximately 8 grams in each tbsp. It also is a source of omega-3 fatty acids which is important for our inflammatory system. Interesting fact - flax contains lignin's which reduce risk of breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. SO, eat more flax and make some bread while your at it. Enjoy!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Divide dough in two and place each half into a mini baking dish. Place in oven and bake for around 15-18 minutes, until lightly browned. Enjoy with any low calorie spreads or natural peanut butter. You can also use them as buns to make sandwiches.
