These raw brownies are a great twist on the regular, full fat, full sugar variety. They are made with a secret ingredient to give these "brownies" an extra boost of protein and fiber then topped with a delicious cashew and date caramel filling and a chocolate caramel sauce! No bake frozen turtle brownies - makes 6 deep dish brownies
Dairy free, vegan
- 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 tbsp baking cocoa
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup natural crunchy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup oat flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and process until mixture starts to clump together. Line 3 mini loaf pans with foil and press the mixture evenly into the 3 pans. Set in freezer while you prepare your filling:

- 1/3 cup cashew butter
- 1/4 cup date caramel
- 1/3 cup almond milk
Combine ingredients in food processor and process until smooth and creamy. Pour evenly on top of your brownie base then set back in freezer. Once frozen, top with chocolate sauce:
- 1 tbsp baking cocoa
- 1 large spoonful date sugar
- almond milk
Combine ingredients to make your topping, adding enough milk so your sauce is smooth and creamy. Transfer to a ziplock bag, cut the corner off, and drizzle on top I your brownies.
