You get to eat FIVE or SIX WHOLE whoopie pies (depending on how big you make them) for 5g fat, 18g carbs, and 22g protein! They have a secret ingredient that I bet you can't guess! I promise you can't taste it, and it's what makes these so macro friendly! I mean...those are the macros for the entire recipe (pictured is only 1 out of the 5 or 6 you will get).
Whoopie pie ingredients:
1 bag miracle noodles (the kind that are 0 carb-not the tofu kind),
2 egg whites,
15g unsweetened Dutch processed cocoa powder,
5g regular unsweetened cocoa powder (you can use all Dutch or all natural-I just used a mix of the two bc I prefer Dutch but wanted to manipulate the macros a little bit for my own needs),
1/2 tsp baking powder,
dash of salt,
stevia to taste.
Filling Ingredients:
30g fat free cream cheese,
3g cellucor peanut butter marshmallow whey, peanut butter extract,
stevia to taste
Rinse miracle noodles under hot water for a minute or two, then cook them in a pan over high heat for about 5 minutes, or until no more liquid is being released and they start to get kind of squeaky. Remove from heat and let them cool. Dump them into a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Add the rest of your ingredients for the whoopie pies and blend again. Refrigerate batter for about an hour, then line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and drop batter by spoonfuls, flattening them a little bit (make 10-12 cookies if you want 5 or 6 whoopie pies). Bake at 375F for about 12 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Mix your filling ingredients and assemble your pies! *Note* Stevia is to taste, and peanut butter extract was not an available ingredient, so add peanut butter extract to taste to your filling ingredients!
