³ Description

You won't regret this savory bowl of chili. It's packed with delicious veggies. Hatch peppers are in season right now so it is the perfect time to enjoy some chili.

² Ingredients

  •  7 oz, raw, yields Bell Peppers
  •  8 oz Zucchini
  •  13 oz Red Tomatoes
  •  1/2 cup (8 fl oz) Water
  •  7 serving (serving = 1/2 cup) Kroger Light Red Kidney Beans
  •  4 oz Onions
  •  2 tbsp Chili Powder
  •  7 oz, raw, yields Green Sweet Pepper
  •  3 clove Garlic
  •  8 serving (serving = 4 oz) Jennie-O Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast
  •  5 cup Tomato Sauce (Canned)
   

q Directions

Chop up all veggies. (zucchini,tomato,hatch pepper,onion,garlic,red bell pepper)
Brown the turkey meat with the onion and garlic.
Pour all other veggies onto a skillet and sautee them in some olive oil.
Once the meat is cooked, pour into a large pot with the tomato sauce and kidney beans. Add chili powder to your desired taste.
Let that simmer 5 minutes.
Add the veggies into the pot and mix well.
Depending on the consistency you like to eat your chili, you may add water to make it more soup like.
Add chili powder to taste as it will absorb in the food.
Let it simmer until hot and Enjoy!
Would be great with some tortilla chips, crackers, or cornbread.
