³ Description

These are perfect for when you want to reach into the cookie jar or pantry, but don't want to overload your macros. If you want more protein, you could try adding protein powder or peanut butter, and for less sugar, sub it with Stevia, but I cannot vouch for how these will turn out. You can also leave out the icing if you want to lower the sugar/calorie content - but these are already low calorie! Experiment and leave me a comment!

² Ingredients

  •  1 tsp Cinnamon
  •  1/2 tsp Nutmeg (Ground)
  •  1 serving (serving = 2 tbsp) Hodgson Mill Milled Flaxseed
  •  3/4 serving (serving = 1 tsp) Kroger Baking Powder
  •  1 serving (serving = 1 tbsp) Whole Foods Market Organic Raw Blue Agave
  •  3/4 cup Sugar
  •  1 serving (serving = 1/2 cup) Bush's Best Cannellini Beans
  •  30 g Oat Bran
  •  1/4 cup (8 fl oz) Plain Yogurt (Lowfat)
  •  3/4 tsp Baking Soda
  •  20 g Powdered Sugar
  •  1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
  •  1/4 tsp Salt

q Directions

Preheat your oven to 350F/175C.

Mix all your ingredients, exept for the icing sugar, together. (Remember to wash your beans to get any sodium water off them.) I suggest blending the ingredients with a hand blender to get the smoothest consistency of batter.

Use a little more coconut oil to grease a square pan, and then pour in your batter.

Cook for 35 minutes, until the top is golden and the inside is cooked. Leave to cool.

Mix the icing sugar (and here you can add a little more cinnamon and nutmeg to make the icing spiced) and mix with water until you have enough to cover the surface of your blondies. Cut into 12 and enjoy!
