A yummy chocolate-peanut butter donut to start your morning off right!
@mrm_usa Chocolate Peanut Butter Donuts
Ingredients
Donut:
-1/3 cup oat flour
-1 scoop MRM Vanilla Veggie Protein
-1 teaspoon baking powder
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
-1/3 cup stevia
-1 whole egg
-2 egg whites
-1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Frosting:
-3/4 cup plain greek yogurt
-2 packets stevia
-1 scoop MRM 100% All Natural Dutch Chocolate Whey
-1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
-2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (I used dark cocoa powder!)
-Optional: Chocolate chips or crushed peanuts (not included in nutrition facts!)
Directions
1.) Preheat oven to 325 and spray a donut pan or stay tuned for a special trick if you don't have a donut pan... most of us do not! 2.) Mix dry ingredients, mix wet, and blend together!
3.) Pour batter into pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
4.) Mix frosting ingredients and frost donuts once cooked and cool.
CleanEatingMomma Tip: For those who don't have a donut pan... no need to go buy one! Grab a piece of aluminum foil, roll into a ball, and place in the middle of a cupcake pan! Easy, right? Make sure the ball is sprayed too so it comes out easily, but if it gets stuck... grab yourself a knife and slowly cut around it. Bam, donuts! Now a donut pan is easier, I wont lie but this is a cheap trick that I have been using since I don't make donuts enough to purchase a pan. :)
