A CLEAN, Sugar Free, Gluten Free, nutritious "candy" bar
pulse first 3 ingredients (almonds, oats, honey - vegans use agave) to make the "nougat". Form into 4 bars and place in freezer.
Puree dates with just a little bit of water to make the "caramel" sauce until creamy (only add enough water to mix for a thick caramel). place in freezer.
Chop additional 1/4 cup of raw almonds into 1/4 pieces and mix into the caramel sauce.
spread the caramel / nut mixture on top of nougats and place back in freezer.
mix coconut oil and raw cacao powder until it becomes a sauce. Poor over the bars. The sauce should become solid quickly since they bars were in the freezer. Place in freezer if extra firming is needed.
