These little cuties are the perfect dessert to satisfy that sweet tooth. especially if you love german chocolate. These little frozen desserts are made with a chocolate and coconut base then topped with a date caramel filling and topped off with a chocolate topping! and, they're dairy free and vegan!
German chocolate frozen pies
Base
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/4-1/3 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup dates
- 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1 tbsp baking cocoa
Caramel filling
- 1/2 cup date caramel
- 1/3 cup dairy free unsweetened coconut yogurt
Top layer
- 1 can full fat coconut milk
- 1/2 cup melted so delicious chocolate ice cream
Combine ingredients in a food processor to make your base. Process until mixture starts to stick together. Press into 2 mini springform pans. Set aside. Combine your date caramel with your yogurt to make your middle layer. Pour on top of your crusts. Set in freezer until frozen. Pour your top layer on top of this and set back in freezer until frozen.
