³ Description

Gluten-free grain-free sandwich bread used to make a ham and cheese sandwich. Add mustard, pickles and cheese and you have a healthy Cuban sandwich made from real ingredients.

² Ingredients

  •  1 serving (serving = 2 oz) Primo Taglio Black Forest Ham
  •  1 slice (1 oz) Swiss Cheese
  •  7 oz Plantains
  •  2 medium Egg
  •  1 serving (serving = 1 serving (15 g)) Mustard
  •  1 serving (serving = 4 slices) Trader Joe's Bread & Butter Pickles
  •  1/2 serving (serving = 1 tbsp) Dr. Bronner's Coconut Oil
   

q Directions

First make the plantain bread.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Peel plantain.
Place in blender or food processor.
Add in eggs. Or add in coconut oil, or place oil in pan. Either way the bread will come out.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Bake bread for 15-18 minutes.

Once bread cools a little cut bread into 4 triangles.
Place one triangle on the plate.
Spread mustard on followed my ham, cheese, and pickles.
Place another bread triangle on top.
Repeat for the next two triangle bread pieces.
