³ Description

Delicious Greek-style burger in under 30 minutes!

² Ingredients

  •  1 serving (45g) Pita Bread
  •  1/2 cup, chopped or sliced Tomatoes
  •  1 tsp Cumin
  •  1 tsp Dill (Dried)
  •  1 tsp Paprika
  •  1 tsp Black Pepper
  •  1 tsp Olive Oil
  •  1 tbsp Lemon Peel
  •  2 clove Garlic
  •  7.5 oz Ground Lamb
  •  1 serving (serving = 1/4 tsp) Morton Sea Salt
  •  1 serving (serving = 1/4 cup) Trader Joe's Reduced Fat Crumbled Feta Cheese
  •  6 thin slice Red Onions
  •  1 serving (serving = 1 cucumber) Trader Joe's Persian Cucumber

q Directions

Mix the ground lamb with salt, pepper, freshly pressed or finely minced garlic, cumin, paprika, dill and lemon zest. When fully mixed, shape into two patties.

Pre-heat oven to 350 and heat up griddle pan with a little bit of olive oil. When hot, add the burger patties. After about 2 minutes, when nice color is on the burger, flip it and place in oven. Burger should be cooked after 8-10 minutes. Color on inside should be light pink Turn off the oven and throw the pita bread in to warm up. Let the burgers rest while you prep the toppings.

Chop cucumber and tomatoes and mix with a little bit of lemon zest, salt and pepper and thinly slice the red onion.

Cut the pita bread in half and place a burger in each half. Top with cucumber, tomato, feta cheese and optionally a bit of parsley and lemon zest.

Enjoy!
