Bring some flavor (and caffeine) to your morning oats with this mocha almond oat cake made with mocha almond ice cream then filled with a vanilla coffee cream.

² Ingredients

  •  1 medium Egg
  •  1 serving (serving = 1/2 cup dry) Quaker Old Fashioned Oats
  •  1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  •  1 oz Coffee (Brewed From Grounds)
  •  1 tsp Baking Powder (Sodium Aluminum Sulfate, Double Acting)
  •  1 serving (serving = 1/2 cup) So Delicious Coconut Milk Ice Cream - Almond Chip
  •  1 serving (serving = 1 tbsp) Nutiva Chia Seed
  •  1/2 serving (serving = 2 tbsp) Barney Butter Smooth Almond Butter
  •  1/4 serving (serving = 1 cup) Silk Pure Almond Milk - Unsweetened Original
  •  1/2 serving (serving = 1 scoop) Muscle Milk Vanilla Creme Protein Powder
  •  1 serving (serving = 1 container) So Delicious Cultured Coconut Milk
   

q Directions

Mocha almond ice cream oat cake

- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup SO delicious mocha almond ice cream, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- milk as needed

Combine ingredients (add milk if needed to form a batter) and bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Set aside to let cool. For my filling, I combined SO delicious cultured coconut milk with some vanilla and coffee and made a coffee cream then topped the entire cake off with @barneybutter cocoa + coconut.
