There is no better way to start your morning than with health comfort food, and savoury waffles are a great way to do so! I filled these waffles with turkey bacon, arugula, egg white, and ricotta - it was to die for

² Ingredients

  •  1 serving (serving = 1 packet) Whole Foods Market Stevia
  •  1 thin slice (yield after cooking) Turkey Bacon
  •  1.5 serving (serving = 1 tsp) Kroger Baking Powder
  •  1.3 serving (serving = 3 tbsp) Egg Beaters 100% Liquid Egg Whites
  •  1.5 serving (serving = 1 scoop) Optimum Nutrition 100% Any Whey Protein
  •  0.0625 serving (serving = 1/2 cup) Kroger Fat Free Cottage Cheese
  •  1/4 cup Arugula Lettuce
  •  1 serving (serving = 1 oz) Galbani Low Fat Ricotta
   

q Directions

Ingredients (for the waffles):

1.5 scoops unflavoured whey protein
1/4 cup egg whites
1 heaping tbsp plain fat free Greek yogurt or cottage cheese
1 packet of stevia
Garlic powder
Pepper
Dilweed Seasoning
1.5 tsp baking powder
Method:

1. Cook the waffles on a sprayed and fully heated waffle iron for 2 mins
2. The ricotta I seasoned with dill and garlic powder
3. Turkey bacon fried in a sprayed pan for 5 mins, turning occasionally
4. Arugula tossed in 1/4 tsp olive oil
