Is pie ever a bad idea?? This stack of warm buttery pecan pie protein pancakes is just the right comfort food you need in the morning to cure the workday blues and help you crush leg day!
Directions:
-Heat butter, brown sugar and walnuts on the stove in a pan on low heat
-Mix pancake ingredients in a bowl (1 tbsp plain vanilla almond milk, 1 tbsp Greek plain yogurt, 1 tbsp baking Truvia, 1 egg white, 1 serving Trader Joe’s toasted coconut pancake mix and 1/2 scoop Vanilla protein powder)
-Spray a second fry pan with coconut oil and start cooking the pancakes which you mixed together with the rest of the ingredients
-Stack pancakes
-Add Arctic Zero
-Enjoy (use the topping as syrup)
